Emanuel Loarca is an actor, writer, director and producer. Founder and Artistic Director of Teatro Akabal Theatre. His artistic debut was with The Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre's The Beautiful
Soul of Don Damian Written by Juan Bosch and Directed by Miriam Colon Valle, back in 1998. Since then, he has performed in over ninety plays for the Latino and American Theatre. In New York City he earned an HOLA Award, An ALUNY award, Four ACE Award Nominations and received an acknowledgment by the FBI-Hispanic Heritage Celebration for exceptional service in the public interest. Last toured with his autobiographical one man show LA FAMILIA DE EMANUEL a dramedy about domestic violence and was awarded Best Actor and Best Play by the audience in Los Angeles.

Actor, escritor, director y productor. Fundador y Director Artístico de Teatro Akabal Theatre. Empieza su carrera artística en el Teatro Rodante Puertorriqueño en la producción de La Bella Alma de Don Damian escrita por Juan Bosch, bajo la dirección de Miriam Colon Valle en 1998. Desde entonces ha participado como actor en mas de 90 obras de
teatro en Chile, Mexico, La Republica Dominicana, Guatemala y varios estados de La Union Americana, incluyendo Nueva York donde recibe un premio HOLA, Un reconocimiento ALUNY, Cuatro Nominaciones a los Premios ACE y un reconocimiento del FBI-Hispanic heritage Celebration por servicio excepcional al interés de la comunidad. En Los Angeles recibe un reconocimiento del consulado general de Guatemala por su apoyo a la difusión de la cultura guatemalteca. En el 2005 funda el grupo Teatro Akabal Theatre, siendo su primera puesta en escena el unipersonal autobiográfico La Familia de Emanuel, donde interpreta siete personajes galardonada como Mejor Obra y Mejor Actor por la audiencia durante el Festival Internacional de teatro en Los Angeles.
